The B2B marketing and sales landscape is dramatically changing and we are entering the era of Data-Driven Marketing.
Traditional communication media such as direct mail, telemarketing, email, trade shows, and sales calls remain a key part of the B2B arsenal, but with the added direction and intelligence that a robust database can provide, these methods will reach new levels of effectiveness. When all the data from digital and social media is added to the mix, the difficulty of both understanding and using data is fast increasing.
In addition, the importance of a well-structured and accurate database is frequently undervalued. It is widely accepted that between 50-70% of the success of a targeted marketing campaign is dependent on the segmentation strategy and supporting data. We believe that for companies to beat the competition and profitably grow in the future, they must tackle and win the data challenge. This is Our Vision.
Our mission is to provide consulting, data services, education and training, in any combination, to enable our clients to win the data game. This will enable them to increase overall marketing and sales productivity, assuring profitable long-term sustainable growth.
WHO WE ARE
Jim Wheaton and John Coe, Co-Founders and Principals are well known in both the database marketing and B2B worlds. They share both the firm's vision and mission, and came together to form B2BMarketing.com in 2010. Supporting them is a very experienced team of other industry experts led by Leo Sterk, Principal and Boris Gendelev, Principal.
Collectively, both Jim and John have given well over 550 seminars and presentations worldwide, published more than 100 articles and have written numerous white papers. John is also the author of The Fundamentals of Business-to-Business Sales & Marketing published by McGraw-Hill, now in its second printing.
